A developing area of low pressure will introduce some unsettled conditions towards the end of the week. Rain will begin to move in during the course of Thursday slow increasing in intensity as we reach Friday, by this time the rain will be accompanied by some strong, gusty winds. There is the potential for torriential downpours in isolated areas. Around 100mm could fall in some areas, this being enough to produce some regional flooding, especially from already high rivers due to earlier rainfall last week.
