Welcome to my Blog, bringing you my weather observations through North East Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, North Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire, North Yorkshire and into the City of York during my daily commute from Melton Mowbray, by car and train.

Thursday 7th February 2008:

Cloud that comes and goes.

Melton Mowbray 06:30 – 6.1'C

An overcast dry and mild start to the day in Melton Mowbray this morning. The cloud cover continued throughout the drive to Grantham. During the train ride to York breaks in the cloud appeared in places some larger than others, but generally the theme this morning is cloud.

On arrival into York it feels cooler with a grey sky and remaining dry.

The local temperature at 06:30 in Melton Mowbray was 6.1'C, the lowest overnight temperature recorded was 3.9'C.

Tomorrow; More of the same…
