Well it's been ages since In blogged but with winter approaching (sort of), I feel compelled to write my thoughts on the coming season.

I can see August and September being just milder than average, October could end up very warm whereas November may be very cold.

Now to winter: because of carinthian and his 'Barents Sea cold pool', an early cold pool developing above the Arctic circle, a potential weak El Nino with accompanying southerly tracking Jet coming out the US leading to a -ve NAO this could be the one we have been waiting for!

The warmer than usual N.Sea could be a blessing as it could allow for LOTS of snow!! Early days but I predict at least 1 month with a CET below 3c, also look for a '91 type event!
