For those attending on day 1 (Wednesday), it's still quite wet underfoot and the forecast has thundery showers moving through southern Britian but hopefulky missing Somerset.

Part 3 Tuesday 21st.

If you are looking at your wellies, thinking shall I bother, they are big and cumbersome, it will be fine - STOP! Take your wellies.

It has been raining lots already over Worthy Farm, Pilton and although there will be a lot of fine, bright weather there will be further showers.

It will be bright and sunny at times, don't despair. The UV levels are already high and you can still burn through the clouds, so hat, shades and suncream are needed. It will feel quite humid and muggy at times, so remember a refillable water bottle.

Queuing overnight and tomorrow morning - Risk of showers, some heavy. Cool overnight, feeling humid tomorrow and cloudy.

Win a pair of Rockfish Wellies - perfect for any muddy festivals you're going to this Summer!

Wednesday pm- an okay start but there will be heavy, thundery showers moving up from SW. At the moment, the worst are forecast to miss Glastonbury but it will be worth keeping an eye on them on the Netweather Storm App

Weds night into Thursday - will be close and muggy, as this feed of thundery showers pushes over SE Britain.  A few of the downpours may stray into Somerset. Otherwise, again a quite cloudy day with brightness, feeling humid.

Thursday evening - the shower threat fades but the air will be quite damp and so evenings could feel quite cool, even with the still air. Worth packing a jumper for later in the week.

Friday - a fresher air flow means a scattering of showers and sunny spells.

The weekend looks fine, still temperatures only in the mid to high teens but drier, sunny spells and a light breeze.

All the news and details on the Glastonbury website and the Glasto App.
A reminder not to cook inside your tents, don't use a barbeque (portable or disposable) inside your tent, the CO fumes can kill.
