A surprise sprinkling of rain added to the general lack of grip yesterday, and some patchy showers may bother the Moto2 and Moto3 classes today for qualifying, though MotoGP should have a dry session a light shower can't be totally ruled out.

The strengthening breeze will continue to blow sand around through the weekend, before easing slightly later tomorrow evening, the good news is that race day is set to be dry with patchy cloud and temperatures holding up through the evening at around 25-27c.  Even this might not be enough to stop Open Class teams from benefitting from the new rules and a lock out of podium places can't be ruled out.
