Trooping the Colour- A fine summer's day

It's looking hot for Sat 17th and dry for this year's Trooping the Colour

Issued: 12th June 2017 13:37

The main event is on Saturday 17th June 2017 but practices have already been taking place. Saturday itself is looking hot and fine on current forecast charts. Great for spectators but not ideal for the Guards in the heavy uniform and black headgear

The forecast charts show temperatures in London could reach 25 or 26C by mid afternoon. The events start at 10am when it could already be 21C (70F) with the fly past at 1pm.

There should be a light west breeze keeping the air moving, with high UV levels and Very High pollen levels.
