Storm Katie is the latest named storm, arriving into Easter Monday.
Storm Katie is the latest storm named by the Met Office, due to arrive late in the evening on Easter Sunday, through into Easter Monday. The main risk area for winds is southern Britain, where severe gales with gusts in excess of 70mph are possible in exposed places.
There is some uncertainty over the precise track and intensity of Katie, with a risk of stronger winds tracking further north than shown, but the animation below shows the current expected wind gusts.
Alongside the wind, storm Katie will also bring a period of heavy rain through from the southwest, with upwards of 25mm of rain likely in parts of England and Wales.
