After lovely Spring sunshine for many today, cloud and rain is already rolling in from the Atlantic and will clash with the colder air over the UK, leading to some wintry conditions for the northern half of the country tonight, and a pretty miserable night generally.
Things will brighten up from the west tomorrow before another low pressure arrives from the Atlantic through Friday, this one splitting the UK in three, with rain for the south and far north west while in between will enjoy some decent sunny spells and a mainly dry day.
The weekend continues the unsettled theme, though the southern half of the UK should avoid the worst of any rain on Saturday and feel quite mild out of the wind.
