The Formula 1 circus is slowly rolling back towards Europe, and that means less painful TV viewing times, with FP1 at midday on Friday and the race starting at 4pm Sunday. This weekends event is being shown live only on Sky, with a highlights package on the BBC each evening and live radio commentary on 5live.
Bahrain is usually a straight forward forecast, with plenty of sunshine and occasionally a bit of wind in the mix, and this year is no exception with temperatures in the low to mid twenties, some light cloud at times and a northerly breeze expected through the weekend. Of course, the sunshine will be irrelevant for both qualifying and the race, as for the first time they will be held under the floodlights in the early evening and this will keep track temperatures down.
