Temperatures will start to recover for the weekend, with the south east in particular feeling warm, but the easterly flow is never too far away and north eastern coastal regions will feel cooler than the thermometer suggests.  The clocks change on Sunday too, don't forget to move them forward an hour, especially if you have promised to make a Mothers Day breakfast!
