The wet week continues with further weather warnings and flood alerts in place. Low pressure lingers near to the UK right through the weekend, keeping it cool, blustery and unsettled. More heavy and persistent frontal rain will bring flood risk, with north Wales, NE England and SE Scotland being highlighted by Met Office weather warnings on Thursday. There is also still the risk of hefty thundery showers bringing downpours to other areas. Next week looks warmer if you are thinking about hibernating.
