Weather is fine for the first match of the World Cup in Moscow tonight.
The hosts Russia will play the first match of the 2018 World Cup on Thursday afternoon 4pm kick off (local time evening) Their Group A opponents are Saudi Arabia at the Luzhniki Stadium in SW Moscow . Moscow is 2 hours ahead of the UK as are most of the other stadium, Samara 3 hours, Yekaterinburg 4 hours
Yesterday in Moscow, it was warm and bright up to 20C and a bit cooler than here overnight at 8C
For the first match of the Tournament, the weather looks fine. It will be dry, rather cloudy temperatures around 18C with light winds.
England play Tunisia on Monday 18th at 7pm in Volgograd (was Stalingrad) further south from Moscow and much warmer. It is 31C and sunny today, so can always blame the heat.
