Flood risk continues

Thursday - flood concerns increase for SW England today, particularly river levels in Somerset.
Tuesday sees heavy rain for Western Scotland and Tayside. SEPA (the Scottish Environment Protection Agency) still have Flood warnings for Tayside, and flood alerts for Angus and Central Scotland. Up to 30mm of rain is expected today (over an inch), more for Dumfrieshire.

The Environment Agency for England and Wales has Flood warnings for the Midlands SW and SE England and Alerts for Anglian,Wales and NE England. The 3 day flood warnings show a lessening risk along the M4 this week, but continuing concerns for some southern counties, mainly as a hang on from all the flooding earlier in the month. Any extra rainfall still has nowhere to go, and this weeks forecast does point to some heavy rain during the weekend.
