Glastonbury Weather Forecast

Jo's Glasto Forecast

Update Monday 19th June
Hot start but cooling down

This heat and humidity will still be around for Wednesday, could be 30C After that it doesn’t look as hot. Just fresher, more comfortable and often near 21C than 31C, and cooler in the evening/overnight. Nippy Thursday night Overall, there will be a lot of dry and bright weather BUT there is the potential for a few showers, even the odd thundery downpour.

Ground conditions

If you heading there early to queue in your car in the early hours of Wednesday be prepared for a warm and sticky wait. The highest ever temperature at the festival is 27.3C, so could beat that on Wednesday. Take your sunscreen, hat, shades and plenty of water. Remember no glass allowed on site. Thursday looks markedly fresher, still warm at 22C but not the intense heat and humidity of earlier in the week.

For the end of the week and at the weekend there will be a bit more cloud about, bright spells rather than the unbroken sunshine we have now. Thursday night actually could be quite nippy, so more comfortable for sleeping but you will need a jumper. Don’t just pack for Wednesday’s weather. Your app maybe showing showers, even rain for Saturday. There is the risk of showers but it does look mostly dry. Just pack your wellies.
