Cloudy and warm overnight with a min temp of 17.2C, beating our previous June high minimum record of 42 years (16.4C set in 2005) by 0.8C.

Currently overcast with a temp of 22.2C and brightness starting to break through.

Could be quite a day. London already 27C. The Netweather radar has new layers, one of which shows top 10 temps that hour. 

Very windy start in East Lothian this morning with light rain but has eased now.  17.8C  at 10:45BST  7/8 cloud cover

A lot of upper cloud this morning, this cleared during the afternoon with temperature quickly rising to a high of

32.1 C which with Td=17 C has not been comfortable; the highest Mx since 11 August last year; the Min was 18.4 C, the highest for 2 years, not sure the date
