Last April was a notably cold one. This year we are seeing potential similiarities with regard to the effects of warming in the stratosphere, with this in mind I'm not expecting a particularly mild one. However, given we've had a lack of cold months recently, I'm also not anticipating an especially cold one. 

A changeable month likely some cold blasts, cyclonic spells, and a briefer warmer spells. A mixed bag, and notably wetter than the last two Aprils which were very dry.

8.7 degrees - near average. If we do hold onto northern blocking something in the high 7s a possibility.
