First precipitation just starting to fall in Solihull...

Mainly sleet, but some flakes mixed in.

 Still frost on the roofs opposite.

Coldest night of the winter by a long way last night, -6.0 °C. Didn't really expect that! Some nice winter sunshine earlier, but now grey and damp, 2.4 °C. A little bit of sleet around an hour ago, but nothing more interesting than that. Nice to see some of my fellow Midlanders have had snow, though.

Still staying as all snow here. It is settling but not as much as I would have thought with the ground so cold and the heaviness of the snow.

Very much wet snow here now, its washed away any sign of settling snow from before so just a bit damp and bleurgh. Reminds me of last january, snowed all day and didnt settle at all. We were spoilt rotten from late december and early january though so didnt bother me one jot!

Very grateful i was able to see snow in slovakia now, i've had a couple of days of the good stuff if nothing else.

Still snowing, with a covering albeit a bit slushy here in a lower part of the city.

Still all snow here, and settling more easily with the flakes getting smaller. Lower level air temperature must have fallen with the heavier precipitation.

Persistent moderate snow here with everywhere white over now.

Snowing here! Very fine initially after a had frost. Bigger flakes now, is sticking now. Hoping not too bigger flakes as may turn wet- I rely on the old saying: " Little snow, big snow... Big snow , little snow.

Anyhow, just loving seeing any snow however long it lasts ❄❄

Alton ST10 - heavy snow currently at 1.5cm lying snow. Nice to see even if it does turn back to rain.
