A dry and warm night with long clear periods. Sunny and very warm this morning after a few shallow fog patches over the lower fields around dawn and fog a couple of hours into the morning.

Thick fog early this morning which quickly burned off to leave a clear and sunny albeit hazy day. A cooler start than expected with a min temp of 12.7C but already up to a max of 27.3C, making it the 2nd warmest September day here in 41 years of records. Thats just 0.4C below the record set in 2016.

Currently 27.2C and 60% humidity with a light SSE breeze.

A hot and sunny day, the hottest September day since I began keeping records locally in 1963, also the sunniest September day for 12 years despite a very hazy start.
