It's quite a pleasant day further north in the Region, but down in your neck of the woods Eagle Eye, the trough moving east along the southern counties is giving some sharp showers.

Been a decent enough autumn morning here so far, sunny skies with a bit of a breeze, temp up to 14c, but the clouds are slowly building, although they dont look like they are going to drop much water as yet.

Sunny morning, more of a cloudy afternoon but still with some sun around, top temp 15c. Temps expected to rise a degree or two in the next couple of days, cant complain for nearly the end of October

15c still this morning, not sure it dropped over night at all, warm breeze blowing and I think its cloudy under the darkness.

Some lovely photos again.  Today's max was 17c at 14:23 after a very mild but windy night that was still 15.9c until the overnight min of 14.9 at 08:00.  A very pleasant day with a lot of sun until early evening cloud became more widespread. Currently 15c with 80% humidity

Wind has dropped to 6mph, SSW. Pressure 1014.3hPa falling slowly.  No rain has fallen in the last 24 hours. 

Weather highlight; the low sun at this time of the year glorifying the changing tree colours.  

 

 Approach to my village    after a tough day, these colours are a balm to the soul

Beautiful and sunny here now after a cloudy start, 15c.

Just can't beat this weather, we could be on a different planet compared with the north.

Absolutely blitzed our way through all manner of outdoor stuff over the past days, shame this fab weather has to disappear though. Maybe we'll get a relatively benign mid-November!

Had almost constant rain here this morning from 6-30 onwards, got absolutely soaked walking the dogs at that time and its been ranging for light to torrential ever since, at one point thought the garden was going to be completely flooded, its dropped off a bit now, so the rain has had time to drain a bit. Looks like another hour or so before it clears through completely. Temp currently 13c and Ive put the heating on, which is a nightmare due to the gas prices, paying over 50% more this winter for heating, so hoping we get a very mild few months ahead.

After all the rain this morning the afternoon was more sunny, temps only reached 14c. Quite a lovely sunset whilst out walking the pooches.

Quite a potent rain band this one.. Some big totals I would have thought by lunch time with the added problem of very squally winds... Be careful if travelling this morning!

Didn't expect to wake up to this noisy wind, very gusty. Sounds like a lot of fences have come down.

Was dry first thing, 6am dog walk wasnt a wash out, thankfully. But the rain arrived around 8am and looks to be set in for a good few hours, possible flooding issues around here on some of the country roads at least.
