Looks like it's finally conked.

Almost looked like the building/thing it was attached to got destroyed and it went out due to that. It was seriously an amazing camera to survive the waves and wind, etc that it did.

If I'm right, the little cam that could has just died

Watching Jokko Williams stream (same site as the little cam that could), he's directly in the path of the eye, and he just had a report that the Mississippi is flowing backwards o_O

He also just said that he's recording 200mph gusts and156mph sustained at his location.

He also just had a completely soaked guy come up to his car (with his dogs) asking where the entrance to the building they are parked outside of...

Is that a life jacket stuck to it?  Fluorescent orange plasticly looking material with a black strap (not counting the seeweed)

Also the building  on the right appears to be half missing during the few frames where it clears up for a sec, that or the entire things been pushed and twisted around o_O

I think it's actually the strap holding the camera housing to the pole. There's a pic of it in the comments on the page.

Yeah the house on the right definitely didn't look like that a couple of hours ago! I thought there was one on the left by the tree as well

I thought it looked like a really cross octopus having a bad tentace day. How on earth did they manage to fix that cam well enough that it's still there? I'm genuinely curious.

Found a bit off footage before the eyewall, entire elevated Front porch has definitely been ripped off and maybe the right side of the building too...

They’ve gone offline; lost power for a bit and trying to reboot servers. They got a message that a rig had come loose, thought it might be one of Shell’s but were trying to verify it before making a formal announcement. I haven’t found any confirmation myself so hoping it wasn’t a statement of fact they received.  Very interesting and informative chat - one of their few remaining live cameras was monitoring the floodgate at Golden Meadow; unnerving to see the storm surge at just over 12 feet and still rising as they went off-line, with only a few feet left before over topping occurs.

This was the view from the little camera just after the water covered the road.

Been following on the cams all day. I guess we will see the full impact when we all wake up tomorrow. The surge is looking horrific.
