Well the cams I'm watching seem to be showing rain more than anything. One storm chaser has gone drive about but apart from the rain not a lot happening yet.

The grand isle one is, surprisingly, still going.

Pretty boring to watch - there's only so much windy inundation you want to see... but it's still going.

When it gets going it isn't boring to watch.

Eye of Hurricane #Ida close to landfall along the Louisiana coast now!

Occasional bits of debris floating past now. Some large, some small.

Not exactly riveting, and a little bit sad really... but interesting to flick back and forth to.

It'll probably be underwater soon though.

Some poor live reporting I'm watching. It's very windy. Err no your car door is staying open unaided. LOL they asked the wind speed from the Davis Vantage she's got attached to the car. "It's not reading properly" it is the cups are gently moving so it is reading properly. The storm surge is impressive.

That house I can't see through the spray and blockiness in the background is definitely in the process of losing its roof.

edit: Or it might just be a flag. Unsure. We'll find out if this pole camera survives the fact it's going through the eastern eyewall but never making it into the eye.

This pole cam I'm watching must have it's own power source somehow. God only knows how it's still transmitting.

Really cant see that cam lasting much longer

I refuse to believe it.

It's the little-cam-that-could. It's got this far... just, well, a lot to go.

"The Little Cam That Could". Thanks for that, now I'm emotionally invested in its well-being...

I'm wondering if they are using something akin to what they put into the path of a tornado,  Whatever it's attracted to/inside of, has to be heavy and plated.

It came back up again for about 17 secs before cutting out, I think it's just the NE Eye wall interfering with the signal. T_T
