Chance of hail and thunder for some tomorrow (Monday), according to the Met Office, although no official weather warning issued - so presumably it's a slight chance.

Won't let me post the MOV as an MP4 so I'll have to send the tweet with the video in it.

2 positive CGs nearby at home. Good old October storm which happens to appear whilst I'm not there!

Some distant convection. Not sure if it’s thundery, but wouldn’t be surprised if I heard some thunder or see some distant flashes

Isn't this rather harrowing tale an object lesson into just how dangerous lightning can be?

This looks rather nasty to me. The bit in the big circle

Lots of broken line segments here. I'm somewhere in that smaller circle and this is heading straight at me now. Wonder if I'll see any tornadoes from this

Really surprised there's not more talk about this right now, was in oxford when that hook passed through and it's taken several trees down and some cladding off the tower blocks! Half expected to see a tornado as the winds were so strong

Wouldn't be at all surprised if there was a tornado.

Took the dogs out this morning around the same time that 'hook' passed over here and the winds were mental for a few minutes, and quite a bit of damage caused around here. Didn't last long but it was intense.

What was even more noticeable was how sharp the clearance was behind that hook. One minute heavy rain, the next sunshine almost instantly

It was circa 8am.

I don't know for certain, but to me, there were definitely tornadic elements on going on. It went absolutely nuts here, and for a few minutes, the winds died down, but there was an incredible rushing sound, almost like a tsunami was on its way or something?! A lot of Dorset was a mess..

Missed that one but got a good few pictures of an amazing shape-shifting storm that went by, dropped some Mammatus as well.
