Another shower approaching, let’s see what happens. I get the feeling today could still be good I think it will kick off very suddenly if it’s going to kick off.

Not my photo but I think this was the strike that scared the living wibble out of us. From reports it struck less than a mile from where we were. @LightningLover

Yeah I had a look at the rough location on Blitzortung… the particular one we saw struck right next to little common! There were also a couple near cooden beach, so that was probably the CG you saw through the glass in the shelter haha. Loved your write up by the way!

Two thunder-rumbles heard coming from the Kinder/Bleaklow direction at 15:37, it's quite dark looking to the East from this side of the peaks but aside from a brief downpour there's not been anything here just yet.

Another deep rumble.

I just love the sound of thunder, Zak’s YouTube videos…woooow ( they are amazingly awesome!)  too and I  really appreciate it as up here at castle black, all we have is endless drifting snow and severe frosts, darn it..but we have white walkers too… !

Hello,

Just the one spot of light rain so far. Not sure but I think I can see flashes here from the storm over the Peak District. Some very beefy clouds around and expecting a good storm later
