I may have just heard the deepest and loudest rumble of thunder in my life, it sounded more like an explosion or sonic boom.

I’ve got a recording of it attached.Loud thunder.m4a

Three or four good flashes (one forked, negative) over Reigate just now as a cell passed north.

Looks like we may get a bit more by 9pm...

Storms in Reigate, What's going on? You don't get storms there. Local high pressure zone and all

Euro 4 showing a development over EA in the early hours, maybe from that area of activity to the North of Paris. First interesting day/night of the year for a very long while!

Nice bright flash and second rumble just now - not as frequent as it was, but won’t complain. Sitting in the garden, lightning flashes, thunder, glass of wine, warm evening - what can top that??

That storm north of Paris is very active. Blitzorg is firing off rapidly. Could be a...

Just saw a flash of lightning looking East from central London. No rain and no lightning shown on blitzortung. Hmm.
