Wow, just heard a proper +CG style boom!! Sky is jet black to the SW

Edit: Huge CG seen towards Wisbech. Waited all day for this!

Well that's another chance missed. Very impressive performance again from my town managing to dodge every single cell that developed near us. 18 storms within a 20 mile radius today and only close enough to hear 2 distant rumbles. Literally a joke.

The wait continues.

Absolutely nothing, over here. And nothing on the horizon, either . . . It's nae often I use the term 'bust'!

Having said that, yesterday's 'light rain showers' turned into three thunderstorms. Win some, lose some, eh?

Nice little storm in Blofield Norwich, plenty of lightning, gust front, torrential rain, small hail core and whale's mouth. Skies are very pretty.

Just got some footage from my house in Tamworth to share from 6:30pm today.  I didn't have my GoPros handy due to working late so I had to slum it on my phone!  A nice bit of turbulent cloud action...

i was watching it to my south, the way it intensified into a big line was amazing, some really beautiful horizontally extensive lightning.
