It's just skimming to our north. Must be good up near Penn and Ettingshall.

Very distant thunder here , Few drops of rain on the window and that was it . Can see it falling out the cloud in the distance towards wolves .

Garden needs a good soaking !!

Yes, I’m in Penn.  Very lively with gusty wind, torrential rain, rumbling thunder and I think a couple of flashes.  All seems to have died down somewhat now although the rain (thankfully for the garden) is still lashing down.

Yep I'm by the blind charity  a little further north

That really isn't far away. I'm behind the Spills Meadow near the Maccies. Talk about being right on the edge. Lots heard here...not a lot seen. Seems to have quietened down again though.

There it goes, blowing up again as it pushes past Walsall. Lichfield and Tamworth next if it can keep going.

Just had lightning followed by the loudest crack of thunder of this storm so far.

Looks like it could be producing new cells in it's wake over Wolverhampton.

Edit: Or maybe not. The main cell has organised itself again though. Fascinating how they pulse stronger then weaker then stronger again.

It's a pretty good storm here now actually with periodic thunder and lightning, not constant though and with heavy rain. The thunder and lightning is pretty epic though when it does make a burst.
