Well this has popped up somewhere but coz I'm not where I should be I can't tell you where it is (which I can roughly at home) but I reckon crowhurst ish ,different kettle fish when your looking inland from the coast ..from st Leonards looking north

Those down in Torquay getting the best show currently. Not much else is the SW at the moment.

Just heard some deep distance thunder- there's a small cell popped up on South Dartmoor and a flash by Burrator so guess that was it. All looks very bubbly looking East at the moment

Weirdly, I heard and saw nothing! It seemed to be super localised over the Babbacome area. It's got really gusty here now though.

Picked up a couple of strikes from a cell near Crewkerne around an hour ago.

Yep, can see those out the window currently - one looks pretty meaty, over to the far west, past Cardiff. (I'm looking N across the Severn Estuary).

Not thunder for a while now, however it does seem to come in spurst, rather than all the time.

Quite a few storms to from the southwest to the southeast of us in a big line in the distance here for the last half hour or so.

Recently there has been continues rumbles of thunder from a big cumulonimbus to the south which must be producing a high lightning rate as there are hardly any breaks in the rumbles.
