Hmmm: for SE:

SkewT suggests moderately convective atmosphere with possible sparse and scattered thunderstorms. However, no DLS, no DpD, and CIN darting in and out all afternoon. CZ looks like it depends on isolation, and at the moment, cool but humid, and completely covered skies with time ticking by.

Showers, some heavy, seem likely. Whether they upgrade to t/storms remains to be seen.

So far this quiet corner of the far SE: Nicht, nada, nothing, non, zilch. Even though it tried to brighten up, it never quite got there, so the gentle little shower that passed overhead never developed. Always the optimist, hoping for some hand-me-downs from those further West, though seems unlikely. now.

Some very very impressive photos from the lucky ones!

Suppose I can't complain after the night before yesterday... Hope you were awake in the early hours (04:00-07:00), quite the deluge!

Ahhh that's a shame, Lovely pink CC lightning and crawlers! Got absolutely soaked through however, some of the heaviest rain I've ever been outside in I think

Lightning was really bright and thunder was loud even right here, just seemed so random all of a sudden for that to happen.

I heard that aswell. Didn’t see any lightning but I wasn’t looking. It came up on Blitzortung as a strike near Tenterden.

It's just happened again but not as bright here, should I get my camera out or not, rain is too hard to hear much.
