As for here, cool and overcast.

Same here. I think I’ll be quite unlucky not to see at least some distant convection today but as with yesterday, it’s such a shame the cloud seems to wait until peak heating is well over before clearing itself

Oh to be on the kent /sussex coast at present. As well as being 'on the beach' you also have amazing cloudscapes to enjoy. Still loads of clag here although just showing signs of brightening up now. Very humid. Radar shows signs of development further north now as well. Lets hope for an interesting afternoon...⚡

Sun starting to break through here - slightly hazy but some big cumulus around me.

I'm not especially confident, Norwich hasn't been great for storms this year so far. I expect a good show for some of the usual places.

The vital stats aren't looking terrible though

I'm up at Blofield, still a lot of low level cloud, can't see any hard convection anywhere!

Everything builds here, moves on and then thunder, however still many more hours to go, put my phone outside to record any rumbles but it seems to have moved on, oh wait, nice rumble of thunder as soon as I said that lol.

Proof that you can get t and l despite clag- apart from a brief attempt at the sun trying to make an appearance, we've had a few flashes and deep booming thunder

Don't think there will be any storms here in West Sussex coastal areas, it's overcast and the sun hasn't turned up

Thunder heard about 45 minutes ago, warm sunshine now coming out behind the showers/storms moving into the Channel.

This evening could be promising around here with the chance of some flickering anvils to observe - last night I could see crawlers all the way from an anvil up near Bath after the sun set!

I do love it here. Home now charging up the phone, thinking of walking up galley hill and taking in some of the stuff to the north of me
