North sea clagg to start the day looks fairly dense so could a while before it burns off

Clear intervals during the first half of last night but by 0100 g.m.t a sheet of low St had moved in from the North Sea giving thick hill fog from then until 0630 g.m.t. Dry and cloudy since then with occasional brighter intervals through the thinner patches of cloud.

Variable high cloud overnight, low cloud blowing in from the east around dawn making for a briefly overcast start. The low cloud quickly thinned and broke up allowing hazy sunny spells this morning. The late morning saw overcast conditions return, feeling fresher in a moderate east wind.

Clear overnight. Hazy sunshine and turning hot again. Cloud building late afternoon with showers breaking out near by producing rumbles of thunder, though just a few spots of rain fell briefly at this location.

I'm glad its still very warm where I am with sunshine. Turning more cloudy and the wind is picking up.

Dry and still warm with plenty of hazy sunshine, becoming breezy this afternoon and feeling fresher than the last week. Maximum 25.1, minimum 16.2. Wind moderate SW.

In the meantime, I think I could have predicted this breakdown ages ago. Guess who's off work next week?
