16.1C and 105mm please.

A cool and wet start, and any high pressure later in the month will be nosing in from the west keeping it coolish.

17.3C and 76.5mm.  I think it may well warm up around midmonth after a rather cool start.

Going off the weather at the moment and the current model output I’m going to be very pessimistic and expect a cool, wet and cloudy August.

Therefore I’m going to go with 15.7°C and 100 mm of rain.

Not a fan of August weather.. not expecting a memorably one this year. We've had a mixed bag in recent years, some cool ones in 2014, 2015 and 2017. The last two were warm but rather wet. Not had a notably warm August since 2003. I'll go 16.7 degrees. A cool start, a possible warmer period mid-month but not especially so, with a rather average end. A quite wet month.
