Belting it down here as I found out to my cost while walking the dog. Really thundery skies but not so much as a single flicker of Lightning. All happening way north of us

Seem to have been in a convective void here today! Been watching developments to the S all day, but something has been killing the updraft locally, but further west it’s been sustained! Must be poorer lapse rates or something. 

Definitely a Midlands and North day today. Looks like there’s been some crackers.

yea not electrified i dont think though, been  a day of heavy showers but no thunder .... hope we get something

Yesterday was far better here in South staffs. Plenty of thunder and beautiful cloud formation. 

Nothing but rain today and not a single thunder clap.

Got a storm moving in from the SW of my location cg with noise no rain as yet, knocked out my satellite for a few mins.

A fantastic way to end the day with some incredible CG strikes. There was only 5-6 strikes but they were all lovely purple CGs. A nice weekend overall .
