Still very heavy rain and the odd rumble now and again in Blandford looking out towards the Wimbourne cell.

If this lot drifting down towards the IOW can stay even just weakly electrified for nightfall I will be one happy chappy. Camera batteries charged and I've got good panoramic views just a one minute drive away from my new house!

I’m looking up through some gaps in the clouds and there’s at least three levels with winds from opposing directions.

Must be some increased shear around sustaining/aiding upfront growth. It’s pretty unusual for CZ’s to carry on firing new cells after 6 or 7pm let alone new cells over the sea.

Electrical activity has waned now, so I doubt it.

UKV latched onto the idea of new evening development earlier today - still, I wasn't really expecting it.

Rain started here in West Lulworth five minutes ago. Wasn’t expecting it to come from a north easterly direction.

Line of heavy showers quickly developed and moved over us from Easterly direction, easing now.

Had some flash flooding in hassocks high street this evening from some seriously heavy rain! Was literally watching it back building over the area from Jack and Jill windmills!

Looks like it's game over now. I've headed out just 5 mins away from home and all I'm getting is the wet mess left over. The two-year wait for a nighttime CG photo goes on.
