OK thanks guys,..at least it's another cam to add to the mix☺️

It has great audio though so if a storm does hit there it should e good. I’ve been waiting since the camera went live late last year but nothing so far.

Looks like it has expanded further west which might mean it will pass those cams.

I've been watching the sky to the SE of me gradually turn darker as that line on the radar has grown.

Latest UKV suggesting rain will animate quite rapidly once it has past Kent - that’s a bummer!! ?‍♂️

Convective debris galore here, heavy persistent rainfall in the form of large drops

I'm just about to drive down to the M4 corridor area from the Midlands.

Will report back if I catch anything interesting.

no but at least you are getting rain and have had about 8 thunderstorms already this year.....meanwhile where i live we have had no rain for 6 weeks and not a single rumble of thunder in over a year

i understand that's weather but when people come on here to moan because they havnt had any storms in over 2 days lol

I don't think you should be complaining in your inland convection hotspot, especially after last year. We've had nothing here and also nothing all of last year!

Found another cam in Southampton facing the Isle of Wight just in case.

I used to live just round the corner from there, had no idea there was a webcam.

Town Quay (bit on the left) is great for watching storms roll in. Thanks for the link.

Seeing some towering cumulus to my S/SW. A radar return has appeared too.

Drizzle in Reigate. Some heavier rain to come soon. No storms. Normal summer BBQ weather!

The Met Office should issue a new kind of Weather Warning: using a light grey colour. It would be for "Bit wet out - best take a coat."

That is encouraging.  Currently there is drizzle and boy racers by junction 12 of the M4.

Not sure whether the line of proper rain south of me is what I should be focusing on....

Blimey. Must have missed all of those. Closest I've had to a storm this year was a system passing to my West. Nothing direct yet.
