    Buzkilington?

This is a very underwhelming bust for someone who has sat through the biggies (June 2012, July 2015, September 2016, July 2017, July 2017). However that's just my personal perspective.

A lot of flashes now in the Channel with some good forks. I am probably seeing the same as the Barton on Sea cam as I am just a couple of miles west of there.

I hope you get some great shots mate to make the journey a worth while😏

Well I'm off to sleep now, hopefully I don't miss any storms. Really don't expect the thunderstorms to travel this far inland so I'm getting ready for tomorrow as it looks like I have a better chance between 1pm and 8pm.

Yeah some lovely cg's off the Bournemouth coast now, channel is really coming alive again.

Well after a few flashes and distant rumbles all has gone very quiet since the rain started, looks like i have brought the storm shield to chichester from our home in lincs.

I’ve always found that the Holbeach area seems to get the direct hits from storms every single time up our way historically. King’s Lynn is doing good for me so far, in what has been quite a mediocre year.

I can't get my head around why your calling it a bust?

Hmm as I thought, most of this is in the west country. Our Yellow Warning of Rain ended up being a ten minute shower at 12:30am.

I'm not sure how the rest of the night will turn out, but I think the South East will miss most of the forecast bad weather. I can't quite get my head around why the MO forecast heavy rain for 5-6am, here. There's nothing out there to head this way! There's not even a squall line to deliver it.

Even their pressure charts don't forecast it. Mighty puzzled.

But it is very gusty now.

Rainfall has pepped back up here, and a fair few flashes of lightning too. SW as well as SE.

Because activity has completely dropped off and a single strike has yet to hit land.

I suspect that isn't true, looking out of my window a couple of close calls so whether one did hit land I'm not sure about though.

Let’s be honest, there’s a few flashes but this is a massive fail.

She’s becoming a bit rough now. Something really unnerving sitting under what I can only describe as the atmosphere crumbling.
