hopefully it is even better than forcasted

After both having recent bouts of destructive weather, seems the Czechs and the Germans could be in line for some more misery.

Looking at the lightning radar, I wonder if the trajectory of those storms just west of Lille could come into play here in the SE as the evening goes on?

Kicking off near Warminster now. Several close flashes and rumbles. Rain so torrential nearby that I could hear it while dry overhead!!

Going to set an alarm for around 02:00, so I can quickly look for developments if there are any. Need to catch up on the zero sleep I got last night first!

Line of heavy rain is developing over Warminster. Wouldn't be surprised to see some flooding around that area.

Interesting the UKV pins some of the showers against the coast tomorrow from Dorset through Hampshire where the north east flow meets the sea breeze head on. Could generate some big cells.

I believe I just heard a rumble of thunder but nothing is showing up on the radars. It was very, very faint though.

Can see the tops of the storms leaving French coast from where I am, lighting up nicely every so often. Hopefully they can build further
