You can join me in my Ball Lightning blooper video! I put the same sort of thing up here last night.  I was told these are seagulls!  And I think I can even see the wings flapping.

They do look like meteors (or ball lightning  ) don't they?

That was amazing. Thanks for sharing . Blessings.

There’s definitely some shear available right now. Looks like two areas of convection right above my head are moving completely different directions

Interesting structure heading towards me. Is also being picked up on radar. Got my camera poised and ready in its direction.

Nice pics of convective clouds but overall here in herts a disappointing and muggy day and a dull one with just occaissonal glimpse of sun. Looking at the radar currently  most convection what there is is to the west of London north and south. I was under the impression from the synoptic situation and forecasts that more activity was expected away from the south coast today. Still tonight, tomorrow and Monday though so hopefully will get to see a storm...

The MetOffice is going stupid haha. I think it's due to the uncertainty of where the Convergence line is.

These heavy showers is not giving  out any lighting or thunder in the south and west.

For the SE (Kent/E-Sussex).

CIN should disappear sometime before 9pm, and then, hopefully, game on.

Harmonie seemed to me to model the precipitation best last night, so not really expecting anything until 3am, and even then, quite sparse, despite potential.

A bit of moderate rain here from the anvil/decaying cells related to torrential downpours with some lightning near Chard (a similar looking set up to when they got flooded in June... hopefully not so bad this time).

They are drifting this way but due to the slow motion and how we're just getting rain cooled air here with nothing resembling an updraught within 20 miles, I think moderate rain is all we will get.
