Hmm, on second thought I think you’d like it better near the sovereign light café!! XD

You'd only think it had been a bust if you were going off of Kasims earlier forecast

Main risk of activity was always expected in the early hours of Saturday morning, 2-4am likely the peak across the south coast, 4-8am further inland.

The storms SE of Poole seem to be developing more with every radar update

Can't believe it's been called a bust already..

Yep,  I'm looking out to my SE here in Torquay and the channel is lighting up. Allowing myself to get a little excited now
It's really gusty out there too.

Still the odd flicker going on, but it has been nice to get some steady rain to water everything and keep the dust down.

Couple of flashes here and there seems to have stopped now, really needs a push.

Watching from Poole and can confirm an increase in lightning activity in the last 10 minutes after a quiet spell.

Rumble of Thunder as soon as I said that, or maybe a plane.

Should have known I’d get dragged up the hill for the play park and not just the lightning !

Possibly thunder, seems to have relit, the journey to get my phone and get past my dad resting on the sofa might not have been a waste after all.

It always interests me to look at graphs during weather events..

Nice little correlation between the arrival of rainfall and the air pressure:

The bulk of that rain has passed here now and definitely seeing lots of activities from the cells behind the main band of heavy rain.

These crawlers are highlights of this season so far in my opinion… Nothing quite like them!

The only thing crawling in Wrexham tonight, is me after 2 bottles of Prosecco
