Right, I'm going to head down to Worthing Pier, I'm a little too far east I reckon, but might get a light show later. 

Will wait like a dopey Lemon on the pier for some action!

I'm just up the road from that Barton on Sea cam and haven't seen anything. If someone could move the houses across the road out the way it might be different

Really, I’m only ten miles up the coast and there’s maybe one flash every 3 or 4 mins maybe 40-50miles out from the coast.

watching it on my mobile whilst sitting with my mother so im seeing some big flashes on screen but it looks like its is picking up in frequency

As someone who has witnessed the plumes of July 2017, July 2019, this seems a bust to be fair. See what happens later in the night.

Definitely seeing an increase in lightning over the Perbecks in the last 10 minutes, some bright flashes every couple of minutes now.

dont think we have much hope here in Swansea and i think its unlikely for most of south Wales tonight

i'm of the same opinion, we will get very heavy rain, with possibly 1 or 2 rumbles of thunder thats it.
