Some more rumbles and a distant positive strike. Shame it didn’t develop when it was over me though.

Thunder heard a few miles to my north, heading towards the Ashton/Glossop direction with Manchester Airport beginning to hold inbounds over the Goyt.

Can still hear rumbles from the cell as  it moves away to the north-east over St Helens.

A direct hit here just a mile or so to my SE/E/NE earlier,i wouldn't call it shotgun thunder but cannonball thunder,it was amazing,...i've still got yesterday's to edit out yet, what a storm.

Some impressive bangers some of you further North are getting.

Looks like Edinburgh is also getting absolutely pounded according to the radar. Some pinks and purples getting mixed in! ⚡

Still very hot here especially with the sun out. Storm clouds around but all the heavy rain seems to be a few miles West

Could be interesting, would have been great if this was a few hours later with it being dark. Would be constant lightning flashes, typical that it's all just within miles distance
