It's battering it down here. Nice little storm this. Roads starting to flood a bit as well

Rumble here to just this second. Radar shows a small cluster of cells heading  this way way.

Ahh forgot to post a chance of a storm actually hitting here black to the east and south as the storm forms an reversed L shape. Normally they split and go down either valley lets see what happens this time.

You may see something here username and password weather

Lightning seems quite high up. Frequent though with thunder every 10 seconds. Not a drop of rain though as it skirts by a mile to the east. Lovely view!

Get in. It’s electrified. Rumble of thunder to my south.

Most of the activity to the east and now north of me. The odd flash here it needs some weetabix.

Not sure what happened up here in the North east but the decent area of cells has merged into rain by the looks of things and even that then looks like dying out.  Typical lol

Torrential rain again and for a while to come looking at the radar here in NE Sheffield. Some thunder still but not as frequent as it was earlier - probably a rumble every minute or so now. At its peak it was rumbling every 5-10 seconds.

Still, that's two more thunder days - quite an impressive year for storms here.

Nearly over here I'll class it as a weak thunderstorm borderline Thundery shower.

I went out for a roast dinner, banking on the showers holding off until after I had my dinner... and they did, but then I got drenched on the walk home!  Some things don't change.  Although nothing like yesterday's storms, I have heard five rumbles from a cell to my east, so it goes down as my second consecutive day of thunder heard.

Ooh that was the closest lightning yet! Only a second or so between flash and rumble

Same here. Can see the clearance to the south now. Winds all over the place due to inflows from the cells.

It's definitely weaker than it was as it shifts its energy around. Seems the stronger part is further NE now. Still, it's chucking out the occasional close flash.

How strange, it's clearing up then flash and loud thunder quickly afterwards. Rumbling for quite a while

Absolute beauty developing to the SW again. Heard a couple of rumbles a short while ago. Been a pretty good day in quite a few areas today! Some cracking pictures

Winds still wandering round back to south west the only direction it hasn't been recently is north or north east.
