Brief, big rain droplets for 2 mins and another distant rumble to the NW. Some brilliant cauliflower clouds around here!

@East_England_Stormchaser91,developments to your W/SW now

Just gone past that Wisbech cell looking from the E on the A10 (on way to work unfortunately)!! Looked like a microburst! Always happens to me, work or commitments drawing me away from the main action. There’s nobody more cursed than me I tell you!

Whenever the sun pokes its head out this develops in Minutes but that's all only a few times have some gone any further in the cycle here down south.

Really wishing I was in Lincoln now, this looks like an interesting evening for some

I’m no expert however I can tell you from looking at the cloud growth that the two cells south of Lincoln are merging into something quite spectacular. Best get this BBQ in quickly

Emphasis seems to have shifted slightly more north east now.

Looks like a lively little one has kicked off out near the Airport to the east of Brum.

I reckon East Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire would be good spots over the next hour or two.

Very jealous aha, Lincolnshire is always good for storms. I'm in North Yorkshire now for Holiday, hoping they continue North. It's the best time of day as well with it being dark soon

Returned home to get ready for the footie, radar looks promising to the South and for many of us elsewhere

Keep the pics coming

How likely do you guys think North Yorkshire will get anything tonight or is it looking to be a Midlands/Lincolnshire event

I can't decide whether the sky is reloading for another round as it looks as black now as it did at 2 pm this afternoon .

Heard some rumbles from the one that passed over Burton 20mins ago to my NW but things seem to be cracking off now to my south west with very frequent rumbles from the cell over just NE of Sutton Colefield, hopefully catch a direct hit

Could be an interesting evening for me in Scunthorpe in that circle

Untitled.thumb.png.9745542975571a7634fd246965546de1.png

Have spotted 3 distinct zones of showers and thunderstorms here.

1 - The first line appears to have my name on it in the near future and I hope it all goes off bang just before it gets here

2 - The second line is a tougher ask as it has time to potentially die out before it gets to me but then it could merge with the first one to create a bigger zone of storms

3 - The third line looks to be just forming and this one could easily merge with the second one or even replace it.

The ideal scenario would be for all three zones to merge into one big supercell storm then push north over Scunthorpe and give me the first big storm show of the year.
