The front moving north across the south completely snapped in half here - lots of cloud but not a drop of rain.

Whilst chances are incredibly small, I hope that serves as a good omen for what some of the latest hi-res model runs are suggesting could be some heavy convective style downpours moving across the SE overnight. There is a few hundred CAPE with LI of -1 or -2 which might just give enough juice for a spark or two.

In terms of UK potential, is there anything still on?

Estofex mentions a Warm Air Advection that apparently will do something for us:

Towards the night, strong WAA regime will support widespread storm initiation and one or two systems will cross S UK and BENELUX.

Does it look like this has happened yet?

The cells below in Jersey look tasty; might those be elevated?

If there’s anywhere in the UK that would, Lincolnshire would be the place my money would be on. June 2012 basically did!

If I could re-live one day, the 28th of that month would be the one. So gutted I was busy that day, and had a tornado of EF1-2 strength less than 30 nautical miles from my house!

Well here in the Midlands some dark and moody clouds have just started rolling in and I've just heard a slight rumble towards the south.

Wonder if this is part of the elevated potential that was mentioned, no lightning or anything appearing on radar, also rain seems to be from light-moderate

I was at School that day as I was only 14 at the time, would love to have witnessed it properly though. Lincolnshire always seems to be the best spot for home grown storms

Must've been someone's wheelie bin or something, you don't get thunder with drizzle.

no no we’ve had lightning and thunder without rain or drizzle before last year, it lasted about 10/15 mins before the storm kicked in

So in other words you observed a storm coming towards you before its rain core got to you, which is a bit different to tonight. Look at the radar over the north Midlands right now. That's light frontal rainfall and you don't get lightning from it, the cloud just isn't deep enough. Nothing on the lightning detectors either.

Just an observation...there has been a few big jets, which have started their decent into Manchester over the Brum/ S Staff area...the sound did grab my attention

We have drizzle here now in the Midlands but I definitely did hear a rumble beforehand towards the south.

Awaiting the cell which appears to be spinning up from the SE and is currently approaching Cov way

Not expecting anything but its movement over the last few frames has interested me
