Looked in on the Brighton web cam. One flash of lightning in the distance and 20 cars going past.

Are you sure there's much happening down there, tomp456?  Usually I can see the flashes from Brighton in the upper atmosphere here in Reigate!

Really hoping things East of Brighton pick up, I do not think it will just had some moderate rain for an hour or so. Muggy.

Got a load of videos on my camera but accidentally deleted some of them here's the best I could get with my phone, will upload what I got with my camera tommorrow. Still a storm to go down in the books for me.

There was certainly something going on! Not much, but not nothing. It was all way out in the channel anyway. I'm in Worthing so get the scraps..... my focus in now on the alleged storms at breakfast tomorrow.

Torrential rain and a few rumbles of thunder in Tunbridge Wells.
