Moderate rain yesterday evening cleared to the east by midnight to leave the rest of the night dry but cloudy. Hill fog developed during the early hours but lifted again at 0600 g.m.t. Since then it's been dry with a few sunny intervals.

Clear spells forming after the rain last night. Sunny spells this morning, a good deal of cloud at times.

Yesterday.

 

Clear spells overnight, cold, ground frost forming. A good deal of high and medium level cloud this morning, weak sun visible. Staying cloudy, just the odd spot of rain by afternoon, a few very hazy sunny spells, turning windy. A spell of moderate to heavy rain mid evening, clearing before midnight.

Dry here, but not for much longer I think.

It's not often you see two independent rotating curls of precip over the UK.

One brief light shower this afternoon as showers weakened as they reached us they redeveloped to the north west then pivoted round us.

A  dry morning with sunny intervals but cloud thickened steadily towards midday b.s.t to bring showers or longer spells of light-moderate rain until mid afternoon. A few sunny intervals followed the rain but further showers arrived from the north west around 1600 g.m.t.
