Fairly decent viewing tonight.

Is that Capella that's flashing away different colours on the N horizon?

Stunning images there Arnie, quite magical last night, my photos didn't catch the beauty I was seeing.  Don't know if there was a pre dawn encore, it was cloudy when I had a peek out my bedroom window earlier about 3am.  Bog-eyed getting ready for work now, but it was well worth it.

Second best display of the season I had seen last night in Dublin. Had just rushed out to my local park last minute so not great images.

I was in 2 minds because im very tired.. bloody glad i did though! lol.

I must have looked a right narna, side of the lane, photographing a light patch emerging near the horizon, just to shout YES! when the photo was clear NLCS and good ones!

Happy days .... (or nights i suppose, lol)

Some possible NLC's in the distance, I suspect not though but J thought it was weird having a bright sky this late at night.

Nothing from my neck of the woods last night or tonight.

Apart from a Badger scaring the life out of me, I didn't know they can growl until last night haha.

Hi, the third pic capturing the moon, tells me you were probably looking S to SW.  Not sure which direction the first 2 pics are.  NLCs will be visible in the North, scan the skies from west to east focusing your attention near and around the bright star capella which sits in in North to slightly NE skies.
