Pleased for you... we are stuck under bloody cloud GRRRRRR

Pics?

Wasn't 'allowed' to go out with the camera as the missus was tired and grumpy and didn't want me coming in late disturbing her... typical given it was the best display I've seen! I've told her the next time this happens I'm gone... can't live under the thumb my whole life!

That was a display well worth waiting for. Great pics everyone. I won't spam all my images (I took a few ) but this was my favourite, taken just before they started to fade around midnight. I did keep an eye out for a second showing but nothing appeared.

What a fantastic photo - congratulations!

That same 'patch' was visible down here, too! I'm hoping last night's display bodes well for the coming weeks.

One other good thing did come out of the display...our adjusted 2 day out method seemed to be spot on

Skies sort of starting to clear here, at least to the north west. I'll be keeping my eye out after what appeared around 30 minutes from now last night....

Not sure what's going to occur tonight as the last AIM published for the 22nd looks unfinished....almost like they has run of  film for the end of their orbit run`s ?

Messy at the 3 day out area at the top

I've began the post-work Friday beers, so I'm hoping I don't regret it if there's a display later and I can't drive to get pics! Still, decent photo opportunities are only a short walk away so not the end of the world. It's very clear around here other than cumulus which will melt away before dusk.

O for a clear patch

latest AIM looks promising in the 2 day out area

and I believe that the flotsam arrowed, would have been, what was viewed on Wed evening as it passed to the north along the 60° latitude line

Latest daisy has some at 70 degrees at around 1.05 on the clockface, so there should be some visible IF the cloud holds off which is by no means certain

Latest Aim' 2 days out looks really good

Using the half day adjustment to compensate for the timing of the photographing of the image

Here`s a hurriedly prepared example of what i mean
