Thanks, after sleeping through the last couple of decent displays I'm over the moon with what I saw last night.  I also encountered a huge badger, scared the lenticulars out of me.

Did I miss much?

Some great pics there, and looked a real nice display. Had a feeling I was going to miss that when it was raining at 11pm. Nevermind.

Says 18th June?

Yes, but these rotate clockwise at 5 days per rotation. Thats 12 mins on a clock face per day. Uk is at 6 oclock so 2 days = 24 mins before 6.. so tonights viewing will be at 6 mins past 12 oclock.

The display is far to low for photo shoots.

Going to call it a night.

Could see it for a time at Sutton before the mid level cloud went and 'ate' it. Had a bit of kelvin helmholtz too illuminated by the limited visible NLC (not that noticeable in this longer exposure).

Nothing like Friday night's display. Pics at the Malahide Estuary.
