I'm on the south coast, so not much hope of me seeing what you guys have managed to capture, but we do manage to get displays down here, but it was 2019 when we last had anything of interest, and that was on the solstice.

Anyway I'm going to point my camera south instead, the milky way is lurking somewhere out in the channel, let's see what the night brings

Couldn't see that faint display over this way and it was very clear. I'll be staying up to see if they appear for the pre-dawn show though...

They looked best through the camera, phone camera lol..

Ghostly glow to the naked eye mostly but eventually stretched across a large area of horizon.

I've been thinking about picking up a filter, how are you finding it? I can usually process a lot of the LP out with Photoshop but anything that can be done at capture time is appealing.

Not the best of pics being taken from the phone camera instead of my usual D3100 which is in the repair-shop, but they're evident.

Nothing wrong with those! I gave up, I could just about make them out but the fog ruined it

A good night Rob .. long lasting display will be interesting to see how this represents itself on the AIM image when released. The light pollution filter seems to work well...stars are clearer and it cuts out that beigey brown background

just finding the sweet spot

No Rob.. unfortunately they aren't

Simply to much radiation entering the upper atmosphere...this has the effect of dimming and fragmenting the clouds

It`s really just the Sun going through its natural 11 year solar cycle
