Pretty sure these are visible to my North now, I have a rather annoying strip of low cloud obscuring them but there is something bright behind that for sure.

Good shot Dan.

I clocked these from Suffolk early today 1.30-2.30am, was out taking milky way shots.

It was slightly hidden by the cirrus, but had the typical silvery glow to them

Ha, I was out doing the same as it goes. I finished taking my milky way shots about 1:15am and turned back North to see that all too familiar glow, lucky really as I was about to head home.

It never gets truly dark this time of year, always a slight glow to the north. Add humidity and light pollution it's not great!.

Hope you got some good photos.

Lovely clear night ahead....a chance to test a light pollution filter and maybe a chance to see some of the flotsam Nlc`s which are floating around the lower latitudes

good luck all

Seen that on the NLCs around the world FB group, quite the show! I'll have to have a look outside in 20 minutes or so when trickles of some may appear.

No NLCs here unfortunately. I have setup the timelapse cam to see if anything appears at dawn.

Cloud has got in the way of the cam shot I posted earlier, was hoping for them to become a bit more distinct.

Lovely clear view you have there!

Thinking of popping out the photograph the milky way, with the small chance of a noctilucent display, even if it is a long shot. Good luck to anyone who is out tonight
